Privacy policy

Your submitted work is used only to coach you. It is never sold or used to train AI models, and it is deleted within 90 days after coaching ends—sooner on request.

This policy applies across student and applicant coaching, professional coaching, team programs, and programs supporting students. A parent or guardian consents before anyone under 18 uses Craneweave. In team and cohort programs, access to submitted work is limited to the assigned coach and the Craneweave program coordinator.

What happens to submitted work?

Essays, applications, résumés, interview practice, prompts, workflows, outputs, and other submitted materials are used only to coach the person who submitted them. They are never sold or used to train AI models and are deleted within 90 days after coaching ends—sooner on request.

Parental consent

A parent or legal guardian creates or authorizes the participant account and consents before any student under 18 uses Craneweave. Parents can review their student’s plan and submitted work or withdraw consent at any time by emailing team@craneweave.com. Account holders who are 18 or older consent for themselves.

What we collect

• Account information — account holder name and email, participant name, role, and relevant coaching or program details.
• Submitted work — essays, drafts, school lists, activity descriptions, résumés, interview practice, AI workflows, outputs, and anything else submitted for review.
• Payment information — processed by our payment processor. We never see or store card numbers.
• Usage analytics — how the site and program are used so we can improve them.

How we use it

Submitted work is used for one purpose: coaching the person who submitted it. The assigned coach reviews it, the platform organizes it, and feedback comes back from the coach who completed the review.

For professional and team coaching, only submit materials you are permitted to share. Remove confidential information, personal data, or restricted company information when needed.

We never sell personal data or use submitted work to train AI models. Any service that processes submitted work operates under agreements limiting its use to providing Craneweave coaching.

Retention and deletion

We keep submitted work while coaching or a program is active and delete it within 90 days after coaching or the program ends—sooner on request. Email us and we will confirm deletion in writing, retaining only records required for payment or legal compliance.

Who we share with

Submitted work is shared with the assigned coach and, when needed to run a team or cohort program, the Craneweave program coordinator. We also share data with the services needed to operate Craneweave, including payment, hosting, and analytics providers. Each receives only the information needed to provide its service and may not use it for unrelated purposes.

Your rights

Account holders—and parents or guardians acting for a participant under 18—can request a copy of their data, correct it, or delete it at any time. Email team@craneweave.com and we’ll respond within a week.
